SO still on my to do list is the exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, Walking in my mind. The exhibition says it aims to explore ‘the artist’s imagination through immersive, large-scale installation art.’
Oh phew nothing too complicated then?
I’m preparing for a colourful labyrinthe of dark secrets and even darker desires as they attempt to answer those notorious biggies such as “who am i? and “does who i am bear any relevance on what i do?” [Or is that the other way around?]
While just around the corner from me Roger Hoirns has decorated an abandoned flat in blue copper sulphate crystals! Hell why not??!! Actually, this happened last year but due to popular demand has re-opened, to be honest i can see why. ‘Every day hundreds of people made their way across the capital to this anonymous council flat near the Elephant & Castle.’ Of course it was abandoned, no one would choose to live in Elephant and Castle?! :S Maybe I should offer my flat up next…
Also out is Coco before Chanel. Hopefully this biopic lives up to legend of the designer. Although a doe eyed Tautou should perform typically well.
I’ll let you guys know what I thought and if I reccomend any of the above.
Later.
